SKFC announce partnership with Evolve

SK Football Coaching are delighted to announce Evolve Football Coaching will be joining up with the SKFC team ahead of the new 2021/21 grassroots season.

Established in 2020, Evolve have worked with grassroots players within Stockport through a Development Centre, ‘One2Ones’ and Holiday Camps. Operating in a similar set-up to SK, Evolve work alongside grassroots football clubs to provide professional coaching.

As part of the partnership Stockport Dynamoes and Reddish Vulcans will now join Mountfield Rovers, Inter Cheadle, Grove Athletic and Juno United as SKFC partner clubs.

Furthermore, Evolve’s coaches will now operate under the SKFC banner, providing high-quality coaching to partner clubs, but also Development Centres and Holiday Camps.

SKFC players and parents can expect Development Centres to benefit from increased capacity, with a bigger team of experienced coaches, whilst plans are in place for an expanded Junior Club and School Coaching programme.

Speaking about the move, Evolve Football Coaching Director and Head Coach, Adam Bond shared his thoughts ahead of the merger:

“This is an exciting time for Evolve and it is clear we share the same ambitions as SK, who are a well-established coaching provider”.

“We are excited to be part of their plans and cannot wait to help drive it forwards”.

Welcoming Evolve and their team with open arms, SKFC Director, Joe Godfrey expressed his delight with the partnership: “I’m a big believer that working together is a factor in building success and this will create a team of passionate, dedicated and professional coaches”.

“Expanding our team will naturally mean we can go on and achieve even bigger successes in the North-West region” Joe later added.

In a landmark move for both organisations, SKFC would like to extend their gratitude to Evolve for their commitment to providing professional coaching across Stockport. The future is bright, as SK Football Coaching continue to evolve, all whilst doing it the SK Way.
